Alex Weston is a New York based composer, producer, and keyboard player.




Alex's scores have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, the Berlinale, the Venice Film Festival, Slamdance, and many others. His works have also premiered in various TV projects including "The Affair"  on Showtime and "The Emperor of All Maladies", a Ken Burns produced documentary for PBS. Alex also scored a documentary celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Roundabout Theater company, which aired on NBC.

Concert Music



Alex has had works commissioned by the Lyrica Chamber Music Ensemble, the Utah Wind Symphony, the Carnegie Mellon University Philharmonic, MADArt Creative, Ballet in the City, and other organizations, including a recent performance at the John F. Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts ("Music for 'of Melting Snow'"). His compositions have received awards from ASCAP, the New Jersey Arts Collective, and the English National Opera.
